USAC/CRA Points Leader Tony Jones will be in Lakewood this Saturday Afternoon.

Lakewood, CA. – Norco's Tony Jones and the Alexander Racing team found themselves in first place in USAC/CRA points following last Saturday's second place finish at the Perris Auto Speedway (PAS). A small celebration took place with the pit crew, family and friends in the pits following the race.

This Saturday (February 24), the celebration should continue as the powerful USAC/CRA sprint cars have the weekend off and Jones and the race team are expected at the Zanzabuku Sports Lounge in Lakewood for some old time bench racing.

The popular Lakewood lounge is a new sponsor for the team this year. Plans include a raffle, 50/50 draws, BBQ and cold drinks all designed to benefit the race team. The raffle will include several autographed pictures of Tony Jones as well as some other surprises. The bar will also have racing videos of USAC/CRA action at Perris Auto Speedway.

In addition the bar will be selling raffle tickets this Saturday, for a March 10, drawing for two fully paid nights at a Las Vegas casino. All proceeds will go to the race team.

Jones finished a close second to young Garrett Hanson of Manhattan Beach last Saturday night at Perris and moved ahead of Indiana's Darren Hagan in USAC/CRA driver points. Jones now has a 22 point lead over Hagan with the next race set for Perris on March 3.

Jones and teammates will be on hand at the Zanzabuku beginning at 1 p.m. this Saturday (February 24). For more information call (562).423.9872.
