I've always been a bit confused why promoters do not more enthusiastically and effectively sell beer and food. Don't they like to make money or does the back gate give them all they need? If I could get $5 for .50 cents worth of beer I would'nt be able to pour it fast enough! Eldora really gets it right, you proceed down a line and pick-up your eats and liquids as you walk thru. In-n-out just as fast as you can walk.

I go to watch the races and have two or three beers. I do not expect to miss any sprint car racing while I'm in line. Is that so hard, is that too much to ask? This is not an issue and any other track on the West Coast. The only other time I have this issue is a Raider game which has over 50,000 people. If you are not a beer drinker, no need to repsond as there is no wait while you get your lemonaide or iced tea!

there isnt anything wrong with having a few beers at the track but to complain on a message board is going to get you where.

Not sure about Antioch, but in the case of most state fairground tracks they (promoters) have no control over the concession area's prices or staffing and generate no income from them. So your complaint might be with the fair board and not the track promoter. Could be wrong. I also must say that I agree with Oakland about his beer. I too was once young and beer at the races was very important back then. Hang in there Oakland!

I'm guessing, but if the track has a help wanted thing on their website, they might have something to do with the concessions.

There were no beer lines at Madera.
