Craig I know you've moved to Ohio and all, but the last few years, you've been handling the PA Posse with expertise. Please don't tell me the weekly Ohio guys are better than the Posse. Oh Augie, my son, my son, where have I gone wrong............

Handling the PA Posse with expertise? Keel was probably the biggest offender Fred Rahmer complained about when he was talking about guys that pull in so they can start on the front row and work the handicapping system week after week. Over the last three years, Keel has won a total of two races in PA It's not like he was winning 15-20 races a year. Hell, he didn't even average one win a year since 2006.
Take it from someone that actually saw Keel race weekly in central PA. It is quite a stretch to claim he was "handling the Posse with expertise." You really need to see some races in PA before you make a statement that is clearly not accurate.

Give Keel time. He'll be just fine.

a year ago, the team that keel is driving for had to pull out because they tore up a car and couldnt afford to get it back together. I would say the light at the end of the tunnel flickered out before it started. i know for a fact that Craig Keel should be able to make a show at Attica...I guess the car can't?

Attica had a great field last night. Basically an All Star Show with Shaffer, Blaney, Wilson, Danny Smith and Kemanah (albeit in less than awesome equipment) in the field, plus the locals that run very well there.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. That team has money the last time I checked. Pretty much all-star equipment. They were talking to a few drivers to move up when they let smith go. It ran like one more time with a driver then said enough for the year. I don't believe it was a money issue unless you have some inside knowledge that I don't.

The team went into the season with 3 cars. I have no idea what the problem has been, but I gotta believe that they will work it out soon.
But do not underestimate the Ohio guys. I believe they had a field of 41 pretty stout cars at Attica this week, with half of them capable of pulling off the win. This weekends 2 day Spring Nationals should see even more.

After Smith, Gressman was driving it and it was much longer than once. I wouldnt call it "inside information" but I was standing right there when they brought the car back on the hook and the whole crew was freaking out and screaming "we're done, thats the only car we got"!!! And they were done for the year at that point.

Off the top of my head, I know Wolfe, Dewease, Rahmer, Leppo, Darrah, S.Smith, M.Smith, Shaffer, Kauffman, Esh, Eash, Erdley, Shepard, Layton, Krimes, Hodnett, Michael, Nouse, Montieth, Siegel, and I'm sure one or two others had more wins in Central PA over the previous two seasons than Keel...hardly "handling"

Yes, I understand the PA system. I was just concerned about him, as he is genuinely, one of the truly nice guys in the sport, akin to say, a Steve Beitler. I just hopes he "hooks up" very quickly, as I know he's capable of, and this upcoming weekend would be a great start. To you Posse guys-easy does it. I'm sure if one of your "regulars were to pick up and move-you would all show some concern.

The objections raised in this thread were not because you are concerned about one of the nice guys in racing; it was because your original post completely misrepresented the amount of success Keel had while racing weekly in PA.
