After persistent rain on Thursday evening put the halt on our initial attempt at opening the '09 campaign this past Friday night, Morgan County Speedway looks to kick off the season Friday April 10, as the non-wing sprints make their first appearance at the 1/4 mile bullring in Jacksonville, Illinois. Sportsman, IMSA sanctioned 1200cc upright mini sprints, and the 600cc mini late models fill out the undercard. Hotlaps push off at 6:00, with time trials at 6:30.
As an additional inticement to fans stuggling in these tough economic times, all kids 16 and under will be allowed in FREE. Also, any college student with a valid school ID will only pay $2 admission.
