Sherm Toller passed away this morning. I have known Sherm for the last 8 years or so and he was always ready for some sprintcar racing. Sherm was the infeild anouncer at Ernie Purcell Speedway in Grass Valley, Ca. for several years in the 80's and 90's till it closed. Sherm then worked at Marysville Raceway Park as the infield announcer along with his wife Loree who did the scorekeeping. Sherm was a Sammy Swindell fan, and I'm glad he got to see Sammy run the past year or so at Silver Dollar Speedway. Sherm was one of the good guys and will be missed by many. He leaves behind his wife Loree and two daughters Sheree and Kaylee. My condolences to his family.

God Speed Sherm

The older I get, the faster I used to be.
