Just read a report on the Lightning Sprint Car web site that 17 year-old Christian Stover lost his life yesterday in a ATV crash. Stover won some Lightning Sprint Car mains at The PAS a few years back. He went on to do a bit of wing racing up north. Last year he ended 17th in the Oval Nationals C main and also took part in the Western World Championships at Manzanita. This year he had been campaigning with the VRA Sprint Car Series and had a season best 7th place finish two weeks ago.
He had a lot of talent and had a very bright future in racing.
Thought and prayers go out to his family and friends from everyone at The PAS.

wow...this comes as a major shock. i enjoyed watching him run these few times at ventura this year. rest in peace buddy.

From the entire team at iTi Performance Motorsports our heart felt condolinces go out to the Stover Family. Christian was a very bright young talent and was fun to watch and work with at last years Oval Nationals. He was an outstanding young man and wil be deeply missed . God Speed Christian!
