Planning on making first trips to Paducah and I-55 in a couple of weeks for the World of Outlaws events! Can't wait as I've heard both feature some of the best racing for the Outlaws. Any advice on the best location to sit?
Camping out for the weekend and hope a lot of fans do the doubleheader.
Thanks for any information.

Sounds like a great time. Hopefully some of the All Stars will come down for the race with it being an off weekend for them.

I tried to do this double-dip a couple years ago (was the first weekend in April that year) - and the weather was frigid! They got the races in at Paducah, and they were pretty good. I froze my ass off, but the racing was good. We sat in the backstretch bleachers that year, and it was pretty cool. Those bleachers are pretty close to the track (not sure if that is safe or not!?), so the speed sensation is definitely there when they're flying by you (much like loud pedal 8d noted). Pevely got "froze out" the next night, so that was disappointing... but Paducah was cool. I'm thinking about doing the double this year... we'll see what the weather is like.

What's the estimated car count going to be there?

MHO I wouldn't look for that many cars to be at Paducah, they barely had a full feature field there last year. May be like the count at Manzy last week. Pevely only had like 27 cars for the race in April last year. Hopefully there will be more this go around. Hopefully the Titan #21 team will show up.
I'm skipping Paducah. My double-header will be the following weekend at The Ditch and Haubstadt.
