Copied this from microoutlaws.com message board. Some of the best micro racers in the country will be at I-44 speedway this Friday and Saturday night. If you are looking for some great racing action come watch us race. They are also selling beer at the speedway this year.

The website at www.i44speedway.com has been updated with all the details for the April 3rd and 4th two-day event, the very special "Ryan Craighead Memorial Race." Come on out and help us kick off the 2009 Racing Season on Friday and Saturday as we remember "Ryan."

We are proud to welcome the ASCS2 racers also this weekend as they kick off their 2009 Racing Season with us at I-44 Speedway. ASCS2 will be racing Non Wing, Multi Class, and Restricted Class. Also racing will be the I-44 Speedway A-Class, Kid Sprints, Turf Tires, and Mini Stocks. This is a points race for both the ASCS2 and I-44 Speedway. This promises to be a GREAT weekend of racing for all.

Please note that you DO NOT have to join the ASCS2 to race this weekend.

The Pit Gate opens at 4 p.m. and the General Admission Ticket Booth opens at 5 p.m. Races begin at 7:00 p.m. each night. You need to have your cars signed in by 6:30 p.m.

Both nights are a complete show, with a purse paid each night. You do not have to race on Friday to race on Saturday.

If you have any questions, please send me an email or phone me at (405) 387-4044 or (405) 290-8441. For I-44 Speedway car specs you can visit our web site and print them off.

See you soon,
The Steen family

Sweet! It's time for some racin' already! I'm ready to eat some dirt. Wind from the S/SE, 15-30! Oh yeah! Hey, maybe we can get a wave going in the stands. We can call it a "micro"-wave. lol!

Morgan and Matt both will be racing this weekend. Morgan is going to drive the restricted car at ASCS2 events and Non Wing at I-44 weekly races all year. She has practiced Non wing and seems to like it. I will post some more videos.
