ssshhhhhhh! can u hear that? i can. wait there it was again. . . sounded like a rumble. there it is AGAIN! those lights on the horizon? what could it be? and that smell. i can see it now as i round the corner. oh yes thats the big boys. 410's a rockin, helmets a bobbin, elbows up, hammer down, hard knox racing. u got the local boys bareknuckle racin, the sponsors lookin for the diamond in the rough. 100 degrees out, rounding turn 4, sun in your eyes, sweat running down your forehead. hands sore from 25 laps of pure unadulterated intesnity. long nights in the hauler, long days in the sun, can't beat it its all in fun. friday night fights, busted torque tubes, endless flips, and fast women. u got ur tk express, the Zero Heros, 292 inc, and sharrah designs. the land of high hopes and broken dreams. u cant beat sprint car racing. its in their blood, in their sweat, and all too often in their tears. so lets go people, grab ur friends, say hi to your neighbors, and get them all out to your local dirt track for some REAL racing. FORGET asphalt, its just for getting there. dirts for racing see yall at the track.
