I went to Tulare with George Hague. As long as I was going, I kinda slipped our of retirement

for a week-end and took my camera. Those were 2 outstanding features.

The Hurricane and Slammin Sammy shot it out Friday and it wasn't decided until the last corner - with Solwold 3rd on the podium in the 83Jr.

In Saturday's 35 lap non-stopper TMac and Saldana traded the lead in heavy traffic. Sammy's the

the only driver that made the podium both nights.

Johnny Gibson and Bobby Gerould made and over the top, exciting call of the action and they gave me a direct feed.

Two nights in the grandstand was $75.

I have done a DVD of both nights for $20 including postage - - - satisfaction guaranteed!

It's a great DVD and I'd recomend it to anybody!

Every week you go to a dirt track sprint car race it reminds you just how un-predictable things can be.

It was remarkable how one week we can go from a 13 yellow and two red flag main event in Chico on Friday to a 35 lap non-stop feature in Tulare on Saturday. And the amazing thing is just how close those guys were running next to the wall and how easy it would have been for one person to slip up and bang the wall for a caution. It never happened though and showed just how good these guys are. Just plain good stuff and it's not like they were just riding around there. They were dicin it up all race long.

Thanks John. It is really pretty easy when you have great action to follow. It gets more tricky trying to keep it interesting when no one is making the moves!
