Handy Racing Promotions would like to extend our sincere thank you to the three teams that took the time to put their cars on display in downtown Placerville this morning. When we were forced to cancel tonight’s race I was bumbed thinking this event that Phil Hamilton and RPM Racing Art put together would be weakened greatly….I was very wrong and it was refreshing to see the great response by the community to racing in El Dorado County.
To Phil Hamilton......John Taylor,Andy Palmer, Camron Mendes, Jim Cartwright and Scott Kinney.. THANK YOU! You guys took your time today to haul up the hill and visit with many fans and future fans. I can still remember when I was a kid and my dad took me to meet Doug Gandy and Walt Carmichael in front of a local pizza parlor on opening day of the races. Today I witnessed a few of those special moments...thats what its all about! We may have had a rain out but all of you guys are true winners THANK YOU !
