There were 50 cars at Sunday afternoon's practice.
Here's the format for all classes:
On Friday, draw for starting spots in qualifying features. Top 4 in passing points lock in to Saturday's A main. The rest will line-up, heds-up in A qualifiers on Saturday night according to the passing points they earned in Friday's race.
On Saturday, new entries can line up behind the Friday cars in the A qualifiers. 16 cars using a normal 'heads-up' finish (NO passing points on Saturday) will advance from those qualifiers to the A main.

Due to heavy rains falling now and more predicted up to Friday, the Qwik Race Cars Spring Nationals has been moved to this SATURDAY, March 28th and SUNDAY, March 29th.
Cruisers (Beginners) are also included as part of the 2009 Qwik Race Cars Spring Nationals and they will run a feature on Saturday and another one on Sunday.

Saturday's race time is 7PM. Sunday's race time is 3PM.

Good Move!
Right now at 10PM Saturday, it's 42 degrees at the track with the wind gusting up to 20 mph (stronger earlier!). The wind chill is in the mid to lower 30s!
According to weather.com, when we open the gates tomorrow, it'll be sunny and in the mid 50s and the wind will be less than 10.
At the 2PM race time, it'll be 64 degrees, at 3:30, it'll be 67!
At 7PM, it'll be in the mid 50s with calm winds.
After Saturday's weather conditions throughout much of the midsouth, race day at Ark-La-Tex (probably today by the time you read this!) is going to feel like spring again!!!
