Weather conditions force cancellation of Placerville opener 

PLACERVILLE, CA – (3-21-09) – A persistant storm front moving in from the gulf of Alaska has prompted Handy Racing Promotions to cancel tonight’s opener of the 2009 Red Hawk Casino – Racing Season at Placerville Speedway featuring the Hoosier Tires Civil War Sprint Car Series. At this time an official make-up date for this lost event has not been announced.

The racing season will now open next Saturday, March 28^th with the Golden State Challenge Sprint Car Series together with the Capitol City Midgets.
