Dan Simpson Racing Heading for Tulare World of Outlaws Race
March 18, 2009…Rio Vista, Ca… A healthy Dan Simpson and race team will head to Tulare's Thunderbowl Speedway this Friday and Saturday for two days of World of Outlaws racing on the "Lighting Fast" 1/3 mile dirt oval.
Last weekend, Dan Simpson was caught with a bad case of the flu which caused him to withdraw from the World of Outlaws race on Saturday. Dan and a couple of the crew started feeling the symptoms on Friday, but the "Bad Bug" caught up with them on Saturday.
A healthy team is ready to take to the Thunderbowl Speedway's high banks this weekend for two days of competition against the best in the world, the World of Outlaws. The National traveling group of Outlaws will take on the best West Coast sprint car drivers.
Simpson will try and improve on his 15th B-main finish last October when the World of Outlaws last ran the Thunderbowl Speedway. This year Dan will wheel the DryVac Services, D.E..S Inc, Flowmaster, Kistler powered, Triple X chassis for the 2009 season.
