OMG.......

$30 pit pass fee for practice?? Is this for real??

Like Allen Iverson once said....

"Practice, man were just talkin practice now."

I sure hope you meant $30 for the car or this will be the most expensive practice fee I've ever seen.

Last Saturday Madera Speedway $50. per person

Sunday @ Chowchilla $30. per person which is the lowest pit passes I have seen in quite some time. Of course people can always save money by staying home or sit in the stands for free.

Wow....$50 bucks for "practice?" Only pay $10 bucks at our tracks. I seem to recall only paying $10 A Manzy last year for the Copper and I thought it was that price this year too.

Scott (or anyone)....what was the charge for the PAS practices? Just curious.

Practice at The PAS was $30. I guess that is the price we pay for living in sunny Southern California.

Sorry KOP. Its the price of doing business. The ambulance alone costs me $160 an hour, plus track prep, employees, electricity, etc. Havent seen a track this year advertise less than $30 for practice. Not trying to get rich, but I am in this to make a living (and keep the track open and around for a long time) I think when people see how nice the place looks and what is being invested in it, no one will mind.

I can understand you need to do what you have to do. I was just surprised at what some tracks out west are charging for practice. We pay $10 here (Oklahoma/Texas) and Manzy was $10 as well with all the similar expenses (ambulance, prep, utilities etc.....). As with many others, I'm not a D. Swindler fan and are glad you are taking over. At least we can see if someone else can improve the organisation of the racers there. Good luck to you.

You think practice is expensive try running 1 or 2 shows in ventura they charge you to join VRA just to run a show or 2 . Most tracks give you 1 or 2 free runs just pay pit pass.

IF I SAID IT ITS CAUSE THAT ONE GUY TOLD ME TO!!!!!!!
