STEWART HOLDS THE LINE ON ELDORA ADMISSIONS

ROSSBURG, OH (March 8) -- In light of the current economic status gripping the Nation, Eldora Speedway owner, and two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion, Tony Stewart has announced that he will be holding the line on adult general admission for 2009 at his famed facility. The aggressive season at the southwestern Ohio speed plant will see no increase in adult general admission pricing; in fact other than a modest $2 increase at last year’s Kings Royal, Stewart has not raised the adult ticket pricing since his purchase of the facility in the fall of 2004.

Eldora will drop the green flag on the 2009 season with a doubleheader weekend, April 10 & 11, featuring the non-winged Sprint Cars of the United States Auto Club (USAC) on the one-half mile clay oval.

Following the traditional Eldora ambitious format, visiting sanctioning bodies through the year, in addition to USAC, will include the World of Outlaws, All Star Circuit of Champions, United Midwestern Promoters, FASTRAK, National Racing Alliance, American Late Model Series, Vintage American Race Cars and the Ohio State Tractor Pullers Association.

Within this alphabet of sanctioning bodies, action for numerous forms of motor sports will see action including Sprint Cars (winged and non-winged)(410, 360 & 305), Late Models, Modifieds, Stock Cars, Midgets, Silver Crown, Legend Cars, Antique Cars and pulling tractors/trucks.

Eldora’s complete 2009 campaign is detailed at www.eldoraspeedway.com, and tickets for the 2009 major events are currently available through that website or by calling the speedway office, (937) 338-3815 during normal business hours.
