For those who forgot - the Racer's Swap Meet is this Saturday Feb. 28th at Fremont Speedway. I think the gates open at sun up...

Although I'm used to Silver Springs, it was a very cold, snowy day. But it was very lucrative for our team and we met alot of great people. We'll definantly be there again next year, I just wish we had heard about it before the night before the actual event. Guess I just missed the boat on the advertising of it. More Indy teams should make the trip up, it was well worth the effort.

I stopped in there for a while today and heard some rumors. I heard Jeremy Campbell is going to probaly run that FAST deal this year. I also heard Chad Blonde's team is selling everything out and Chad has no ride when he comes home from Australia. Somebody else told me that Rick Ferkel didn't make no final plans yet about running with the allstars. Didn't that last press release say they was running the whole thing? Maybe they will but from what I heard today they weren't sure yet. We picked up some good stuff at the swap meet, too. Was worth the trip over there for the bargains we found. You were right about it being cold! Wasn't a lot of people there.

I have a feeling that we haven't heard the last of teams jumping on the FAST bandwagon.
Did I hear that Ferkel was wrenching for a USAC team?

I think this FAST deal could change sprint racing in OH for the better. A good opportunity for the local racer or part time traveler to run for decent money and a points fund. This FAST thing will be a welcome change to OH sprint racing.

NOTE the Ferkel usac deal went by the way side we are going to run the allstar deal we just havnt named a driver yet we are going to name our driver soon thanks Shorty

I would love to see Dean Jacobs in that ride. I havn't heard any news on what he plans to do yet this year. Does anyone know if he's still ride searching?
