I have a 3 year old Mini Daschound he is red with a few white spots on him . He is very special to us but requires more attention than we can give him due to our busy schedules . He loves car rides and playin , but mainly sleepin at the foot of the bed under the blanket . He has been neutered and is very playful and healthy . I would really like to find him a good home if anyone can help me out please post or give me a call 405-249-1039

Larry, I have always taken up for you when you have done some of the goofiest things but for you to get on here and say something like that about someones dog, or ANY dog for that matter is unacceptable. I volunteer at Second Chance in Norman, and I have rescued alot of cats and dogs, so I see a lot of abuse. Do you not have any feelings what so ever? My dogs are a part of my family. So I can only imagine how the people with the Dauschund feel about your cruel remark. There is a special place for people who have no feelings for animals!

Now I remember why I went on vacation from here. I hope the man was just trying to get a rise out of ya, maybe stir up a fuss. Poor dog, just wants to sleep, eat and play.....hummmmm sounds alot like me.

You know Larry, I don't know if you were just out to be funny and just joking but you were out of line. You say stuff like this then wonder why people say things about you and always booing you. maybe you just like it. I ran into your Dad at an estate sale a couple weeks ago and stopped and talk to him and he seemed real nice and had a good conversation,so I know it is in your family to be nice. These pets are like members of the family, I have 2 dogs that I have spent alot of money for medical bills. Shawn is doing the right thing and realizing that as much as his family cares for this family member that it is in its best interest that they find a home that could give it the care it need. You might just stand back and think how you would feel it someone say that about your family member whether it is human or animal.

Thank you your kind words mean alot!!! I give alot of people alot of crap on here and expect and can take alot too. I just know what Racing meant to Ryan and now to my Ryan and all of my accomplishment take a backseat which is great by me. I love the way it feels when I am behind the wheel but my biggest victors don't even compare to the way I feel when I see kids who race and love doin it!!!!

I could tee off right along with it. I got 2 dogs that I love more than most people I know. its a screwed up statement for sure.
But at the same time, I dont think the dude is meaning it literally. Not to defend the statement - there is no defending that statement. I just dont think that he means that - he's just stickin in line with the whole "Look at the Great Me" persona he tries so hard to project. He acts like he dont care what everyone thinks of him - but yet intentionally makes these negative and hateful comments that are meant to draw attention his direction. and it really is just to get attention. To folks like that it doesnt matter if it is negative attention - its still attention. There must be at least a few giggly cheerleaders who oblige the guy and his unintelligent, ego-driven, gay ass quips and punchlines.
Its hard to assume anything positive of someone when most of the time they are saying negative things out of nowhere. Which in essence does dishonor to the very few positive things they ever have to say.
The more I see/think of my puppies and the abuse they took from folks with mindsets JUST LIKE on the gas............it just pisses me off a good one. But I think I have said all there is to appropriately say on my part. for all the rest..........maybe some other time.
Shawn - Best of luck finding a GOOD owner for your dog. I'll check with friends, family, and co-workers out here in El Reno and see if I can help out in finding a GOOD home with HEALTHY environment. best of luck again dude. I'll holla at you as soon as I hear something back/get some good news.

I could care less what he thinks he is, I have fought at the drop of a hat, sometimes before the hat was dropped. Won sometimes and was in the ER other times.....So a big mouth dont bother me, barking dogs dont bite that hard, they're just trying to scare ya away.
Whats "GAY" is do have to pick on a little weeny dog to make you feel like a " Big Man".....me so scared....oooooohhh......yeah right.....NOT!!!.........what a butt muscle !!
