My daughter has just had a beutiful baby girl....her first, and since she and her husband do not yet have a name, I thought that a list of female drivers, preferabley those that have driven sprints ( Danica Patrick excluded from the list) would be helpful to them.....or they could just call her Eldora
I have Natalie Sather, Sara Fisher, Erin Crocker, and I just can't think of any others right now, but I know there is a bunch......any help will be appreciated.......although they are probably not going to appreciate my efforts on their behalf
The gal that was involved in the Chilibowl might be a good one but I can't remember her name
Thank you in advance for assistance......could a girl be called Sammy?

"Kaylene" Verville in Arizona and I can't remember Max Dumsneys wifes name. She was a very good sprint car driver.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

Shawna Wilskey from WA could get it done. Beat the NARC guys in CA at Chico if I remember right.

Debbie Huson was a sprint car driver at Skagit, But her daughter Danielle is a gasser much like her father was , Marc Huson.

Thanks for the replies.....I'm just having some fun with my daughter and son in law right now..........unfortunately they have yet to appreciate the finer things in life such as sprint racing........they probably will not be responsive.......I still like what's her name that was announcing at the Chilibowl but still can't remember her name

natalie sather was on the PA with the announcers. that is the only girl driver i think you could be referring to. maybe i missed something. i don't see why the name sammy could not be used for a girl, i have known some female sammys. if the king can name his daughter stevie, you should be able to use sammy! lol.

Dumsney's wife's name was Melinda. They both ran Knoxville in the early 90's. She was a gasser. Also very nice and nice looking.

Samantha Taylor ran the Chili Bowl the last couple of years. Then there's Janet Guthrie and Shirley "Cha-Cha" Muldowney. Local OKC Super Sprint driver and Champion of the Champ Sprint division Michelle Decker was at the Chili Bowl too. 'Nuther local driver is Shayla Waddell - 7th in Champ Sprint points at OKC last year.

If that above list was posted more than once I appoligize. I was trying to edit and realized I clicked on "Post" several times.
Also - someone help me. There was a wife of a sprint car driver in the Phoenix area who was a nurse and she was a really good racer. Denise....???

Denise Bennett (sp?), ran only midgets, I believe. Remember the night she was inducted into the Arizona Racing Hall of Fame. Very emotional. Passed away from cancer quite a few years ago. Husband was Wayne Bennett

Kara Hendrick?. Of all the female racers I've watched - I think she would have gone somewhere with her talent - unfortunately a racing accident took her life. Early 90's if I remember is when she was racing. Very beautiful also!!!

darbo, what was that gals name who drove Midgets and was killed down in Tuscon by a tire that had came off and hit here while she was standing in the infield...was it ______ Rice. That bothers me that I can't remember her name.

Good Day All: I was able to get the opprotunity to talk with Destiney's mother recetely and see how everyone was doing,Destiney's grandparents and I have known each other 40 years now, I concider Destiney as a niece, but anyway her mother was saying Destiney was picked up by a good USAC team and is running USAC in the midwest and doing okay holding her own. She does us all Proud.
