My son has been Racing for just over a year now and just won a big race in Wichita Falls tx. I had tons of people telling me "you gotta get him in a jr sprint" well I bought him one and started stripping it apart to freshen. I painted his first kart yellow like dads car....Didn't like it. His kart now is blue by his choice. When I took him to the shop to see his jr in tons of pieces....I said.....How do you wan't me to paint this for you Ryan? He said.....Dad...I want to paint it like the boy you named me after red and white. My son never knew the Ryan he was named after but this recent situation and just the way my Ryan acts makes me really miss my friend!!!!!!! Till we race again Ryan Craighead u help me watch and guide my Ryan!....U hear me?

Larry there is nothing more pleasing than watching your son race around a race track and take the checkered flag in first place. I am sure that Ryan will keep an eye out for your son

For a young kid, compared to alot of us at the time, Ryan Craighead touched alot of people and obviously still does to this day. The kid had talent but much more than that the kid had class and manors.

Ryan will be missed by those who knew him.

I had the pleasure of knowing and helping Ryan when he ran mini-sprints. He and I spent a Saturday together in a parking lot putting his mini-sprint back together after he hit the wall on a Friday night. I have spent alot of hot, long days in motel parking lots but this was one of the best ones that I spent.

We miss you Ryan,

The DeSilver's

Thank you your kind words mean alot!!! I give alot of people alot of crap on here and expect and can take alot too. I just know what Racing meant to Ryan and now to my Ryan and all of my accomplishment take a backseat which is great by me. I love the way it feels when I am behind the wheel but my biggest victors don't even compare to the way I feel when I see kids who race and love doin it!!!!

Larry- as the long standing President of the Neighbors Racing Fan Club I am glad to hear that Ryan will carry the driving banner. All the best to you and Ryan. Sounds like Ryan is a winner both in and out of the race car. See ya at a the track- Terry Hamilton
