Below is the unofficial list of drivers that have either told me or informed that they will be at the NCRA Oklahoma modified season opener at Elk Citys I-40 Speedway on Saturday night, March 21. These drivers have also indicated their intintions on competing for the championship.

Sorry Hook, kinda forgot about that. The above flyer with the purse is what it is for both divisions for 2009 and beyond. While the series promotes the steel headed theme and that is what the "Kansas" region competes exclusively with, for the Oklahoma modifieds only the aluminum heads will be allowed with 50 lbs weight bolted on with 23 degree angle on heads only. Tires allowed are the Hoosier IMCA or Hoosier 500 unstamped. The McCreary G-60s are allowed but drivers competing with them will not get championship points for that event.

The limited modifieds will run the same as the current IMCA sport mods and even if IMCA does make another change in later years, this is the set of rules that will not change for NCRA.

David do you know of any kansas ncra modified drivers coming down? Just curious. Thanks. LES GO RACIN!!

List updated. If your a driver and are going to at least be at the opener in Elk City, please email me asap.

JMEREJ, not sure of exactly if any Kansas guys are coming down but I do know that the next Saturday night at 81 Speedway for the NCRA (Kansas) modified opener that a couple of drivers from Oklahoma (Shawn Jorski and Ron Gould, Jr.) will be there.

If I can get NCRA to make me some flyers of the above posted flyer, I will be passing them out this coming Friday and Saturday night (March 13-14) during the All-State Oklahoma Modified races at State Fair Speedway.

Also if they permit, I will try to have NCRA registration forms for you drivers to fill out if you haven't done so as of yet. You must complete one even if you just compete in one race (tax purposes). I will find out if that is Kosher when I get ahold of the NCRA office on Monday.
