Topic: 9 yr old Cancer, need silent auction Racing items...

Hi there, I am writing this in a request you can help. One of my best friends Son, Blake Fortwengler has been diagnosed as having 2 kinds of cancer, the first being T-cell leukemia and the second is myeloid leukemia. They have never seen anything like this before. He is a 9 yr old boy that loves drag racing and racing in general. My reason for writing you is to see if there is anything you have that you could donate to a silent auction we are having for Blake in the hopes to offset some of the extreme costs accrued with the cancer. The Silent Auction/Benefit will be held March 7th, 2009. Looking for anything racing related, sheetmetal, shirts, hats, diecast or anything you can offer. Please feel free to check out Blake's current info at either: Please take the time and check out Blake, no boy or child should have to go through this. If there is something really nice that would think Blake would like and is personal to Blake, I would be interested in purchasing that for Blake as a gift. Until his diagnoses he was a typical 9 yr. old boy that simply loved racing! Anything you can do for the event or Blake is much appreciated. I'm sorry for the short timeframe, but the Auction/Event will be held on March 7,2009. thanks in advance

Shawn, Get a hold of me. I have some diecast I will donate. Have some dragsters,funny cars and late model mods i can give ya. I will go through and check and see what I would want to get rid of.

Wow, I just have to give props to the WISSOTA organization. I received an email and they are going up and beyond! They are putting together my story on Blake and putting it to press. I can't say enough that everyone has done so far, and daily I am suprised by the kindness by each and everyone that is deciding to be a part of this.
I can't wait to get to the mailbox or see what has shown up at my door. Thanks again, the most important part to me at this point is if you donate, Please, Please, Please include a name/address/contact information of the Donater. Brian & Jodi want to have the ability in the future to be able to have a "list" of everyone that given to the cause.
My words can't express my feelings, thanks
