I haven't seen or heard anything about East Bay driver, "Bubba the Lovesponge" for awhile.
Is he still on the radio, still racing?

Bubba is on terrestrial radio in Tampa and a few other cities in FLA and his show is also aired on Howard 101 on sirius at 2pm He does a live uncensored show on fridays on howard 101 listen for great replays of "The Craptacular"

His son's quarter midget was in a booth at the PRI show. Also saw him walking the show floor.

that was an awesome chili bowl for Gary "bubba" Altig in 2007! Won tuesday's rookie night, 4th on Friday's qualifier and 14th in his 1st chili bowl A main.

Bubba the Lovesponge ran at the Chili bowl a few years back in a Tony Stewart car. I didn't go to well. His radio show on Sirius is pretty funny if you have a warped since of humor like me. I think he used to run 360's in Florida. He is not the smallest guy, watching him get in and out of his midget was the best part of the show at the chili bowl.
