I put together a NorCal based superfan tour for 2009. This is based on 410 events 1st and then 360 events 2nd (all wing). This would only happen if; A) you had lots of money B) lots of vacation time C) were single or had a super cool wife D) were a race car driver!

This may close to Jonathan Allard or Gary Thomas' 09' schedule!

This is when its nice to be single, and only have to talk the wallet into going. There are some events I have already been to,some on there that I used to go to,and some that are still on my hitlist.

That looks like a great schedule! I think Gary Thomas' schedule will look very similar to that, he he! It is also proof that we are very lucky here in CA including OR, and WA to have such great opportunities to watch sprint car races from March to October!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Yes, the CRA/Usac races in NorCal are must see events. I'm a wing fan but those non-wing boys put on a great show. They have races at Calistoga (9/5-9/6), Petaluma (6/20), Tulare (5/30) and Kings 5/16) this year. The Stoga Labor Day weekend was some of the best racing I watched all year.

You must add The PAS Nov 5th, 6th & 7th for the Oval Nationals. If you can travel to Florida, Iowa and Tulsa you should certainly make a trek to LaLa land for this great show.

And since you've added midgets to your 410/360 list why not karts? You missed the 1st race of the year in Red Bluff last weekend! Them open karts FLY!

I agree though the Oval Nationals are great.

Damn, looks like USAC Stoga is the same weekend as the Outlaws are @ Skagit. Decisions decisions. Looks like Stoga in May will have to do for the GSC.

I am in the same boat, kind of as, Stu. My schedule @ work is changing, going from nights to days & losing the shift diff was getting. Slight drop in pay, but at least am still working right now. Didn't lose my vac tho fortunately.

Hey YZ, Casa Ramos for the Mini Gold Cup dear?

This looks great. I am new to the San Francisco area (new the country having moved from the UK in January) and looking forward to checking out some new tracks. The WOO shows in March are in the diary, as is the Gold Cup in September. Knoxville Nationals tickets have been purchased and flights booked, but what are the other must do races?

travel south for the oval nationals at the end of the year (perris) and they say the trophy cup in Tulare is a can't miss show, also at the end of the year. ocean speedway in watsonville is also a place to catch the winged sprinters weekly (i believe). hope this helps Smile

My schedule is basically 3 races every weekend from May till September, and a lot of weeks even more than that. I'll have to cut back a bit this yr due to a different  job.  Last yr it was 100 races at 42 different speedways.

Its great living in a central location to go to a LOT of races !!!!!

When I got my schedule figured out, I'll post it here...

Oakland Sprint Fan, I see you have the Outlaws at Vegas, but why not USAC National/CRA sprint cars the night before?

Doesnt look like there are to many itinerant people here this year.

Dunno also why you'd go to Knoxville and not go to the Sunday night USAC race, and the Ultimate Challenge while your right in the neighborhood.
