Here is an in-car look at the track at Marysville Raceway Park. Thanks to Joe Mafara for the footage. The pit bleachers have been set on top of two cargo containers to get some elevation to see over the new wall. Things are looking good. This whole video runs 9 1/2 minutes.

Great stuff! Never did come close to catchin Sills. Oh and I saw that right rear tire slap! =)

Nice run, but that thing is still too narrow for one car much less 18 or 24

That red car was Robbie Whitchurch. The track is set up narrow for the schools to keep people down away from the walls in the corners. For a race the track would be run in from the wall down to the inside berm in the corners. I am told that the track will be lots wider than it use to be for race days. They still have to put the plywood panels up for the back straight wall. You can see cars driving down Simpson Lane outside the track. The picture looks better if the "watch in high quality" or HQ mode is selected from up arrow at right corner of picture. If you click on the two small boxes icon you get a full screen picture.
