Thanks so much for all you've done with this website - if I've seen this phrase once, I've seen it a thousand times - "You've taken me back to when I was a kid, when everything was perfect, when you'de ride your bike down to the corner gas station to see someone like Carl Ferguson's racecar.... then see it run at Taft Stadium that Friday Night - When you'de go to Hutch & see all those people standing right beside the track {with no catchfence} on the front straightaway & The Flagman jumping up and down waiving the green flag right in front of the cars on that same straightaway - When you'de go to Enid for the Winter Nationals & wouldn't feel how cold it was 'cause you were sitting beside your Dad and it didn't get any better than hearing & smelling those cars with your Hero" - I know you've worked thousands of hours on this site & there's probably no way of knowing how many people it has effected one way or another - Once again, THANKS for taking us all back "there", to when IT WAS ALL GOOD !!! I agree with "ballinbuck" on his comments. I read your post, Warren, and felt sad to see you have to step back. This site is the best I have seen for race fans (& retirees) to come for a visit, post pictures, plan meetings & just bench race.

I have full confidence you'll return when you find a computer somewhere. You haven't seen the last of a good thing, only a stumbling block, much like many of us are having to deal with ourselves in our own ways.
Bigdog will be through here to make sure the store is friendly, meanwhile we'll keep this thing going. Your family comes first and I appluad you for that.
You, Warren, gave us that 'one' window we needed. I thank you as well.

I totally agree. No matter how bad the day, when I read the stories on here, always takes the clouds away. The best therapy there is, and something Warren needs to help him get past this rough spot. I support Warren in a small way, because the site is that important to me. I know we are all facing tough times, but if anyone else would like to help:

Only wish I could do more.

Whoa, Whoa hold up everyone. Here is the low down. I only made the announcement on the home page because I just didn't want to just disappear with out a reason. Now I would like to explain what was going on. What I was trying to do was reduce our bills and apply them to our IRS debt and maybe some kind of health insurance. I realize things are starting to drag to a slowdown. Freight has slowed way down. Some trucking companies are just barely making it. SMX
which my wife has a cleaning contract with is cutting all employees pay by 5%, drivers are taking a 1 cent per mile cut. She has had two customers cancel there cleaning contracts. So I was just planning on reducing our bills by about $250 a month.
Our phone service remains the same. I can't cancel the phone service including the internet because of those contracts you make with those phone services to get those free phones.. What I have done, is cancel my XM Radio with 3 radios. I have reduced the Dish Network down to the basic with local channels. I will keep the internet. Thanks everyone!!!
