Did i read correctly on the Volusia website that General Admission is $29 for the All Stars and $39 for the Outlaws??

I'm not making the trip, but that seems a little steep for these circumstances we are in.

Highway robbery! Thats just unacceptable. How much to get in the pits? Are there loan officers on hand at the ticket windows?

Face it the Florida promoters feel they stick it to the fans as they have a captive audience. Heck at East Bay for the 360's general admission was $25 Thursday, $30 Friday and $35 Saturday. Imagine taking a family of 4 and costing $105 to get in on Saturday. That is crazy. I guess as long as fans pay it the promoters won't change.

Pit passes at Volusia all nights the sprinters are there are $40 a piece. Guess you got to pay to watch or play in February!

You have to cover the large purse. You people are never happy. Ever try to go to a Nascar race? Our Bristol tickets cost over $100 for cup and $75 for busch. Try that on with a family of four!!!!!!!

Agree with Oakland Sprint Fan. Come on, you have to cover the purse and you are seeing the best Sprint Car drivers in the world. Quit crying on here.

No crying here, just stating the facts. Show me any midwest promoter that charges $29 general admission to get in for an All Star show? If that was the case there would be very few All Star shows on the schedule and they are paying same purse in Florida. I agree promoters have to make money to stay in business but geez.

My guess is since it's 12 nights or racing, the grandstand is not packed everynight. They must have to charge more to cover the empty seats. Too bad more Napcar fans don't come over and watch some real racing instead of the parade at Daytona.

Jeesch, some folks think it is neat to have high purses, then bitch because it costs more to watch the races.

Nothing is cheap anymore, but I paid that much to watch a 2 hour Monster Jam show a couple weeks ago.

Take the family to a movie instead, enjoy that $13.00 coke and popcorn "special deal"

Sounds like last night would have been a fifty dollar race as far as quality goes instead of a thirty dollar show.

Yeah it's high, but it's february. I'm going, and I'll gladly pay for it. Now, I'm not paying for my kids to go however.

I think Ill wait until they raise the purse to $50,000 to win before I go. Its cheaper to get into the Kings Royal.

Come on staggerman if you are going to state the facts try and get the facts correct....LOL

The only way to get a family of 4 in for $105 would be to sneak 1 of them in!

I say charge what the market will bear but don't charge the teams anymore.

This isn't a nice summer night in the heart of sprint car country for a single All Star show.

This is a freezing Tuesday night in the middle of February in as part of a slew of consecutive races in Florida. It's not a mainstream "family of four" targeted event.

The payout is the same, the fan count is going to obviously be a lot smaller... the end result is the ticket price is going to be quite a bit higher.

dad13 - My math was taking a family of 4 to the 360 Nationals final at East Bay. Of course sneaking one in is a good option! LOL

I guess the way to look at it is everyone last night got to see an Woo show at an All Star price!
