Bruce Moore: Longtime Sprint car and Midget car owner and driver Bruce Moore died Monday January 26th after a brief illness. Bruce began racing in the mid 50's and included time in TQ's, Midgets and Sprint Cars. Bruce was a regular competitor at Knoxville and with the Outlaws for many years and was both well respected and well liked. In 1990 Bruce hung up his helmet permanently and enjoyed many following years as a car owner and builder. He was widely known as the founder of Moore Motorsports where he was able to help share his undying passion for our sport. His many victories, championships and lasting friendships are a testament to the type of person Bruce was and he will be missed by us all. Funeral Visitation is scheduled for Thursday January 29th at Trimbles Funeral Home in Moline, IL., with the Funeral on Friday at 1pm. Light a memorial candle online at www.trimblefuneralhomes.com or send cards & letters to Moore Motorsports, 7601 39th St. Dr. RR., Moline, IL. 61265.
