The San Jose based Newton motorsports 360 winged sprint car team is gearing up for their 2009 season. With driver Jason Newton on board, the team plans to race in the newly titled GLR Investments winged 360 series at ocean speedway in Watsonville ca where jason was the 2007 series rookie of the year. The team will also run select golden state challenge series races, California civil war series races and also hit some shows at Petaluma speedway just north of the golden gate.
The Newton Motorsports team utilizes Maxim Chassis along with Shark Racing Engines. The team would like to thank Griffin Construction, Valvoline Racing Products, Wright One Construction, , Balfour Caulking & Waterproofing, Kenny Piraro Racing, Kaeding Performance, Quickway Signs, CMP Video Productions, Afco Shocks, Crow Enterprize, Mad Welding, Thirty Five Industres, Inc., Garvin Tile Co and Bell Racing Products.
just in: newton motorsports wishes to welcome new associate sponsor Empire Pacific Windows on board. EPW is a window manufacturing company located in oregon state. http://www.empirepacificwindows.com/
with the addition of EPW as well as Thirty Five Industries and Garvin Tile coming on board, things are taking a turn for the better this year at newton motorsports.

lol stu! the design is preliminary and is being tweaked as we speak. both jason and doug from quick-way graphics are building on the design by markey chaves. it is tough sometimes to know just what will be the best scheme but all three involved will figure it out. also sponsor logo's and colors need to be integrated. speaking of sponsors, valvoline products has always been proudly displayed by the team. eagle-one care car products are part of the valvoline family. newton motorsports has been maintaining their equipment with both valvoline and eagle-one products and looks to continue that. the team is in contact to possibly enhance those product's involvement with them. other announcements will be forthcoming in the future. www.newtonmotorsports31.com will have updates. newton motorsports is a very nominally budgeted team and wishes to thank all who have contributed their time, money, products, ideas and most of all their friendship.

after our... how do i say this... less than stellar season last year, the blondes were welcome!
as stated earlier, things look to be improving for this season. (not with the blondes, but with the racing program!)
