ELKO, Minn. (Jan. 21) - The 13th annual Jackpot Junction Tour will be a guaranteed groundbreaker for IMCA KSE Racing Products Sprint Cars.
The winged division makes its first-ever appearances at Elko Speedway, where dirt will hauled in to cover the 3/8-mile asphalt oval for the inaugural Dirt Nationals on Wednesday and Thursday, July 22-23. The special continues through Saturday with other dirt racing.
"It's a real feather in our cap for this series to be part of a special like Elko's Dirt Nationals," Tour Director Bob Allen said. "We look forward to showing off the IMCA Sprints to many fans who may not have seen them before."
No track has ever hosted back-to-back events on consecutive nights in the series' 102-race history.
"IMCA Sprint Cars will be our featured division on Wednesday and Thursday,” track owner Tom Ryan said. “Along with this red-hot series, we will have additional dirt excitement on Friday and Saturday of that week."
Both features pay $600 to win. National and Smiley's Racing Products State points, as well as special series points, will be awarded each night.
Pit passes are $35. Reserved seating will be $20 while general grandstand admission for adults is $15 a night. Reserved seats for kids ages 5-12 are $10 and general admission is $5; youngsters four and under will be admitted free.
Pit gates open at 2:30 p.m, spectator gates open at 5 p.m., qualifying starts at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.

Barring any rainouts and rescheduled races, the series finale will be Tuesday, Sept. 8 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.
