Unique Sponsor Packages Available For Short Track Nationals

1/19/09, DarinShort.com. The 22nd Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Racing Tire will be held October 29-31, 2009. And co-title and associate level sponsorship packages are now available.

Little Rock's I-30 Speedway Short Track Nationals (STN) is one of the premier sprint car events in the United States, and is the final stop on the Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series.

The '09 version of the STN serves up an added benefit. The event will be televised by the VERSUS Network (VS) on a tape delayed basis. This new component will offer companies the opportunity to pair their at-track promotions with the national exposure television broadcasts deliver. Affordable at-track promotions (non-TV specific) are also available.

2009 also marks the 5th year for the STN Trade Show and Midway, which allows vendors to directly market their company to the throngs of fans and right at 100 sprint car teams.

Interested parties should contact Darin at [email protected] for sponsorship and marketing opportunity details; as programs for the 2009 season and beyond have been developed and are ready to implement.

Maximize your 2009 marketing efforts by being a part of the 2009 O'Reilly Auto Parts Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Racing Tire at I-30 Speedway, where action is the attraction!

How about if you get a sponsor the track can drop the high entry fee for the racers?

Thanks for your comment. I feel Tracey runs a very fair operation (teams, fans and sponsors) and that's why I choose to work with them on this event; and have the past 5 years.

Example. From the fan's standpoint, being able to see a 3-day sprint show with in excess of a $100,000 purse with around 100 sprints in the pits for under $50 in grandstand tickets is a pretty dang good deal. I'm unaware of any sprint race in the country that can match those stats. Keep in mind also that this is a 1/4 mile track that has limited grandstand seating. It doesn't have the seating capacity of a Huset's Speedway for example. If there were 5000 fans in the stands, the scenario would certainly be different.

Another example, is that in year's past, the only purse money advertised was for the feature; although over $25,000 additional was paid out to non-qualifiers...and doing the math, is significantly more than the $150 entry fee for those 75 or so teams.

And to the people who have emailed me regarding teaming up with the STN, thank you. I'll be in touch with you soon. Hopefully, collectively, we can continue to grow this event now and into the future.
