I take it the other way, there are a great deal of left coasters who have moved to the mid-west for the racing. Ryan Pace for instance is an Arroyo Grande native and I for one was pulling for him and all of the lefties. Damion Gardner, Josh Wise and others who moved to make their living in this sport we still have an affinity for as fans. I am bummed "Showtime" didn't make it, but was happy that "Hollywood" Danny Faria was there.
Jessica Z., what the heck, she raced out here and she was there racing for an out here team, it's all good. Like Sammy and Kevin Swindell, they live in Tenn. but raced out here a great deal for the NorCal #10 wingers and a few USAC shows... I am sure they made some west coasters fans and some out here would claim 'em as atleast foster lefties, right. What the heck, it's all good.
Where ever Peter Murphy goes, there are Aussie fans that claim him, he has made a home for himself and a niche here so we claim him but he spent considerable time in Knoxville racing and could bet that there are tose that claim him there. If I remember, didn't Bubby Jones migrate here from there??? SoCal fans claim him and rightly so...the point is, there were so many great divers there at the biggest racing party in the nation...there are so many that we fans glom onto, heck ain't it all good.
Chuck, are there any forigners that you'd claim or adopt as lefties for a day??? 
Now all of the racers that touch us here, the VRA and Bandit crowd, Randi Pankratz & the midget folks (BCRA & USAC) and the USAC-CRA folks, and NorCal guys and the Late Model (Jacobsen and Lowery) racers of this left side... thanks for representing!!!!
