No CRA/Usac date this year? Having the 360 non-wing bandits is cool but I hope to see the CRA date return. They put on a great show at any track.

Yes, I agree. I think the Thunderbowl is a great track; the people there do a great job. Like I said on the So-Cal board, I was disappointed that last year's race got rained out. Remember, the USAC/CRA schedule is not complete, so Tulare might still be added. Nonetheless, a Bandit/GSC card should be extremely entertaining, and might be worth the trip for this Southern Californian.

SO regarding Tulare, and dont get me wrong here, Im asking a question.
The big story down there, not getting much press is the nascar trackcomplex that will incorporate a Thunderbowl move from where it is to the other side of 99 to the expo center.
Anyone have the skinny on that?

Hey Stu, are you talking about the complex that the Mesa Marin folks were putting together? If so, that got sidetracked due to financing. Haven't heard of anything else in the works. There was another near Fresno that died out. I hope the Thunderbowl lives forever.
