I just heard the 59 sprint car that kenny and lee jacobs drove won't be running florida speedweeks due to lack of sponsership....also was told they might not race the whole 2009 season for the same reason...what a shame this is a really fast car...anyone else hear this?

They are not racing Florida according to Tom and Kenny. As for the whole season, Tom is getting the car ready to go and they do plan on racing, but how full the schedule will be is not known yet.

That would be a shame if the 59 was not out there racing. Lee would have won two races in that car at the end of the year if not for Dale Blaney. I was excited to see what he could do in that car running with it for the whole season. That car would have been a force anywhere it was raced either with the All Stars or weekly shows at Attica and Fremont.

And the last corner battle with Tyler Walker at Hilltop.

Indeed I would love to see Lee continue to race in '09. It is a shame what happen to Kenny at Millstream, he is a great man and a great racer. But, I am curious as to how it is Dale Blaney, or any other drivers fault that Lee didn't win those races?

I don't think he was faulting DB. Dale was such a force at times last year that it seemed like he was almost unbeatable. The final allstar race @ attica was simply amazing. Had it been anyone other than Dale, maybe Lee would have pulled off the win.

Calm down, I am not blaming Dale for anything. I am a big Dale fan myself. If you recall at the end of last year Dale went on a tear winning the last 3 All Star races and the 20,000 dollar to win show at Fremont. I meant that if Dale had not been so hot and the quality of drive that he is we would have see the yellow 59 in victory lane a few times at the end of the year.

Dale won three of the last four, not the last three. Dale won Attica, Tyler Walker won Hilltop, then Dale won Fremont and Lawrenceburg.

I remember, wish I could have been there to see the action, my work schedule sucks! I hope we get to see that good of racing this year as well. Heard anymore on what Dave Blaney is gonna do in '09?
