Rahmer said late last year he was going traveling
Dewease announced he was too
Tony Bruce Jr. just speculation but according to his new t-shirt design he might be
T-mac. if you read his article on his website from yesterday. it sure sounds like he is. (i'm looking forward to that.
is there any other drivers that anyone knows of? or knows anything about these 4 as far as 09 plans?

That's not what Rahmer said. As far as Dewease, last I heard, he was going to run mostly in central PA this year and not follow the All-Stars again.

Tony bruce jr is going 360 and 410 racing. I do not think he is going to be running full time outlaws. I would look for fred and lance to race just around pa, ohio area. I thought tmac would just race around iowa and the dakotas. I am surprised he is going out on the road again this year

From what I read, Rahmer and Dewease will be racing around PA but may do some more travelling for big shows, not sure how far they will travel exactly. I also understand that they may not race every weekend as in the past but just hit the time trial shows and draw shows. I guess you could say they will be "part timers" like Jeff Shepard last year when he mainly ran the money shows, did pretty well too I might add.

Rahmer WILL be running the full Pa schedule, but is not going to worry about points so he can go to a higher paying show if the team wishes. If he does have a points lead great if not thats fine with them too. Dewease will be staying mostly in Pa, but will travel to higher paying shows if they want. They Def. WILL NOT be "part timers" both plan to run every week Rahmer at Williams Grove (fri) and Lincoln.(sat). Plus Fla. in Feb and Both Full Schedules of The Keystone Cup , The Pa Speedweek shows, and of corse Knoxville, and Lowes. Dewease at the Grove on Friday nights and have no specific track plans on Sat. night. I'm Not sure on the Keystone Cup or Speedweek shows for Lance, but I am safe to say he will more than likely make most of those shows as well.
Rahmer also just picked up a new sponsor (AS per Jerry Reigle AARN) for his team. Pancho's Racing Products will be on the car in 09 along with all of His previous Sponsors from 08.

I'm glad I misunderstood what I read, cause whether you're a rahmer or dewease fan or not it would be sad not to see them atleast twice a weekend. I thought they where saying that with the handicap system it's just too hard to come from 12th to 1st on a regular basis with the competition today.

Handicapping is a good thing. Fast guys back farther = more passing.

I wouldn't fully agree with that statement. Especially if the top teams are fairly equal.

If the equipment is egual, shouldn't the differance maker be set up and driver? You'd think that would give guys like Lance and Fred a huge advantage.

Fast guys in the back doesn't produce more passing than fast guys in the front? That's some strange logic ya got there.

If there is no difference in passing numbers from either the front or back starting spots of the fast guys then then there must be little to no passing or they are all fast guys and equal. It would indeed be a sad race if the fast guys were unable to pass the lesser cars or drivers.

It happens that way a good bit, and is the reason alot of guys here are looking for somekind of change in the handicapping system.

Coming from an Ohio, the central Pa circuit is about as competitive as it gets with high quality equipment and drivers...it will be interesting to see what happens there this year...

WOW this thread got way off track. One guy that I see all over the place is Ed Lynch Jr. He races all over and does well anywhere he races. I have seen him in Ohio, PA, Knoxville( where he has made the A main of the nationals a number of times) and other shows in the Midwest. He is what being an (Outlaw) is all about, racing where and when he wants.
