I found this on the Northwest Race Chat site. Anyone have any details?
Destiney was going to run with the Outlaws but that is not going to happen now.
Destiney and Dan will both be running locally in California again and this has something to do with the big news regarding the Golden State Challenge Series that will be out soon.

Id doubt this is what GT was talking about, but over at HD, this was found....
Over at Calistoga Speedway - Charlie Sakai, the fairgrounds "Super", found a treasure trove of of old belt buckles that say "I won at Calistoga". According to Jake Vickers - all the buckles are in mint condition and will be handed out to all event winners 2009. They are estimated to be at least 30 years old. Also any past feature winners who would like to claim one can get them from Charlie at the speedway office while supplies last.

I always wanted to get one of those, but decided that I wouldn't do it until we won a race there...unfortunately, when that happened, they weren't available anymore.

To clarify, the source of this was regarding Cottage Grove being added to the Skagit run and was taken out of context. Mystery solved. You guys can quit calling the office, lol.

Yeah this was for the Northwest board cause we got word that Cottage Grove had been signed. And also got the word that Dan and Destiney were planning on running out here, giving us two more cars that we wouldn't have had. A lot of people up in the NW love Destiney so knew they'd like to know about it once I had heard about it.

Anyone have a spare decoder? Mines broken, or more likely, overloaded.

Is this the belt buckle your talking about? Got mine but am willing to donate to a true winner of a main event at Cali.

personally, I think they should take one, get every living driver thats won at stoga and have em sign a poster, gather up past signatures of those that won not still with us, and put it in a big shadow box and throw it on ebay for a year. Press release it to autoweek, speed and nssn and anyone else paying attention. put the money in the gsc benevolent fund.
