Non sanctioned Modifieds, non sanctioned Limited Modifieds and SUPR Late Model racers along with thousands of race fans will all head to Texas Motor Speedway' 4/10th mile clay oval track on February 26th-28th, 2009 for the World Dirt Track Championships event.

At the last event, no less than 10 states was represented by the best in the business of modified dirt track racers. Once again they will return for a healthy purse pay out and money going to non transfers. A full report of purse pay out, rules and more are available by going to www.texasmotorspeedway.com . Click on "DIRT TRACK" that is located on the side bar of your screen for answers to many of your questions. Racers are also able to call the event organizer, Cameron Branch at 817-255-6027 for even more details if needed.

ALL COMPETITORS of each race division are asked to go to........ www.track-announcer.com/profiles.htm and complete a driver profile form. This information will be used by the event announcer and also be shared with media members when requested.

ALL RACERS that enter the event are asked to go to www.track-announcer.com/profiles.htm and complete a driver profile form for the use of the event announcer and media use. Local racer, Ryan Aho will trailer his 71A Modified all the way from Chisholm Minnesota to Texas Motor Speedway and take on the the southern gangs. Many from his home state will be supporting him on his trip south.

I'm sure I'll hear about Ryan Aho racing down there from a guy that I correspond with in our Ft. Worth office. We exchange email once in a while and he keeps me posted on racing around the DFW area. Thank for the heads up, I'll send him a message tomorrow and let him know to watch the 71a. I have gotten to know Ryan a little bit and talked to him a few times. He's a helluva driver and a great representative of the sport.
