Not good news for The PAS. I thought the infield of the stockers was floating the boat.

Just my own opinion but what better way to kill the sport of racing all together in these tough times . Lets just raise the prices ? Yea thats the answer . Once again just my own opinion , No disrespect to Perris speedway or its management .

I'm not trying to say the PAS is right or wrong, however I think we all need to realize that times are tough and alot of business decissions that will be made are not going to be popular. We can only hope that the sport does in fact survive because there are going to be changes in all walks of life in the next few months that will affect the way we live. I would just say lets all do whatever we can to support everyone in every way we can in the sport until this mess plays out.

Green Valley pays $1100 to win weekly.....................for the Crate Late Models. $441 is embarrasing to pay a DLM for a win. You guys are beating your heads against rocks on this Perris deal. Perris is a flip car track with narrow minded flip car fans that think there is nothing else besides flip cars. It's such a good track, it's just a bummer for the stocker crowd.
I found the above comment on that message board interesting. Didn't know I had the label of being a 'narrow minded flip car fan" before. I think I like it
In a few weeks, I'll be at the Chili Bowl watching the 23rd Annual "flip car championships"

OK point taken . I agree with the whole its a business decision thing . But if you read the whole letter to all the owners and drivers they said that they are trying to put more people in the stands and revive there pascar program . ( I think I read it correctly ) . I myself will pay the extra money it costs to get in just because I love my racing but how many people will say no thanks I will just stay home .I already pay my 40.00 to get in on CRA nights . Lets just say I'm to cheap to buy a USAC membership .. Lol !!! . I understand that perris has to make these tough decisions .

I thought that was amusing, but then again, I've always said I was a sprint car snob, because I am..I've never heard the term" flip car" though.

This guy has been constantly beating that to death for years. And, while doing that time and time again, he has the audacity to refer to Sprint Car fans above as "narrow minded" and many other insulting terms over the years. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! It is like reading the ramblings of a 13-year old.

Dosen't look to favorable for our flip cars in Tucson this weekend. Lots of rain and cold. Oh well february 21st is just around the corner!
See you all at the flip car races.
I'll bet Big Mike from surfnsprint could weave one hell of a yarn with this one. Or would that be surfnflip?

I just got word from Toprow about Tucson. He wrote me--Just talked to Dan in Tucson. It's cold and damp, but the race is on. See you Sunday. I'm making it a stop on my way down to the Sea of Cortez where I'll be looking for some BIGFISH.

Not knowing the original poster (or why it is on this board) I have to wonder what are they thinking. If I was ever attacked on a message board like that I would send someone over to rearrange his keyboard. Lets just hope the PAS doesn't decide to pull the plug on stock cars for everyone because of one _____ (fill in the blank). The TV news is full of gloom and doom, lets pull together and support the few race tracks that are left so they can get up to full speed again when things get better.
