you just never quite know what they are going to do. same as the bowls. some years they start earlier than others. some years they overload multiple games on certain days pre-new years and then some years they start earlier and its just like 1 every night till the 30th or 31st. having saturday games is bout the only way we will ever see more nfl on tv than we do now. now they have 2 noon and 1 3 o clock game - and of course the sunday and monday night games. maybe there are no saturday games because NFL Network wouldnt pay more to do it. i mean it is tricky this time of year - if NFLNet payed a lot for 1-2 week 17 games - and then those games were meaningless (no playoff implications or anything) - it would be a hard sell.....

then again - maybe they just dont want us to see that much football. they could be afraid we will be so overwhelmed with an extra 60-120 minutes of non stop exilirating nfl action that we will get little anuerisms in our brain and freak out and start humping everything in the immediate vicinity. that took a very strange turn.........lol
