Team velocity motorsports year in review 2008the year 2008 would be the first full year in the rough and ultra competitive world of 360 winged sprint cars. Myles bishopof escalon and the chuck cypert lead crew would prove to be up to the task at hand,as the 40 race schedule the team laid out would be a long and large task for a first year team on the civil war roster. Myles and his maxim chassis/charlie fisher racing engines/cv fabricators/maclac paints/stud welding products/mtl manufacturing/pacific bolt/escalon paint and body/kaeding performance/yak graphics/ccr/mrp sponsored sprinter would contest over 40 shows covering northern and central california. The year proved to be a learning process for young myles bishop as he visited these tracks for the first time,steady improvements as the year went on would have the velocity motorsports contending for wins by mid season in their rookie year in the ultra competitive civil war series. The team would ultimately end up with the following stats for the year. (5) top 5 main event finishes (9) top 10 main event finishes (1) fast qualifier (1) main event win (4) heat race wins the following was accomplished through hard work and determination by driver and crew,none of this would of been possible without our sponsors who we greatly appreciate and look forward to having with us again in 2009 as team velocity goes after the civil war championship in 2009.

Myles Bishop really made is name known in the 360 ranks this year. For a rookie, to lay out a 40 plus race schedule, is impressive. Look forward to seeing this young mans progress in the years to come. You had one hell of a year Myles.... Good luck in the upcoming year.....
