Does anyone know who the Doemelt Chassis is built by? I just recently purchased a Doemelt chassis sprint car and I need to find a book on the chassis.

Doemelt no longer makes cars.I tried to get a hold of him about a year ago, He said he no longer has anything on his cars. It's been years since he has had anything to do with sprint cars. That is what I was told when I talked to him on the phone.

doemelt was a part of maxim and they fell out and made this car. should be like a maxim..

His DOEMELT jigs were sold and then used to build CLINCHER chassis. Story is CLINCHER suffered the same fate as DOEMELT after about eight cars.
