For those of you who did not know Jeff, he owned the Focus driven most recently by his Son Aaron, Jake Swanson,(jr) Justin Kierce,(Jr) Nick Carlson, Kevin Kierce, Todd hunsaker, Danny stratton (Focus and full midget) with an A main apperance at the chii bowl. As well as Quarter midgets driven by both of his sons Aaron and Andrew, as well as Justin Kierce, Josh Wise, Nick Argo, Nick Carlson and many more.
Jeff was the most easy going, giving, genuinely kind people you could ever meet, and the racing community has lost a great aasset.
The Kierce family, the Swansons, and the Carlsons have not only lost a great friend but true family member.
R I P my friend.

My deepest condolences to Barbara and the entire Shankerman family, Jeff was one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. God Bless & God Speed.

It has been a privilege competing along side the Shankerman's these past few years. Although I didn't know Jeff personaly, his reputation shows just how much he will be missed. Our condolences go out to the entire Shankerman family.

Words can't describe our sadness over this loss of such an incredible friend. Jeff treated Jake like he was his own son and I his brother. I don't think he had a single enemy. Like Kevin said, Jeff was the most easy going, giving, and genuine person you could ever meet. He Loved his family more than anything and everything he did was for them. Barbara and the boys (Aaron & Andrew) are now in a very tough position. They need All their Racing Family to pitch in and help them out.

Please link to https://www.acteva.com/go/jeff or go to http://www.swansonmotorsports.com/ and link to the Schankerman Family Memorial Fund and make a donation. This memorial fund is being facilitated by Acteva via The River Church in Tustin. These funds will be available for Barbara to use immediately to supplement the lost income and cover the bills. There are no restrictions on the amount or how many times you may feel compelled to give. So Please, help me help this family out. It would be the Gift of all Gifts to give this year over the holidays.

Sincerely,

Chris & Jake Swanson #88

This news has intensely stunned and saddened my family and I. Jeff was the kind of guy that never wore any type of negative disposition nor did he ever mistreat anyone that he chose to associate with. He was a true friend and he will be missed. Barbara, Aaron, and Andrew are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Deepest Sympathies,

Garrett

deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the Shankermen family from The Thomson racing family...

Aron is a friend of mine and this period of time for that talented young driver and the rest of his family has got to be heart braking

God Speed Buddy...
