No Princeton Nationals on the schedule for 2009, at least not yet anyways.

Did you notice that they added a Wednesday race at Deer Creek the week of the Jackson Nationals? I don't know if I'll be in a position to go much further than Cedar Lake and Kopellah this year but it's too early to know for sure so we'll see how it goes.

I would imagine if GRP or Vinster was heading down that way, Stan M would find a way to tag along and make it down for the first WoO sprint show at Deer Creek.

I shouldn't have any problem going to Deer Creek from work. What I meant was going to Jackson and the accompanying motel expenses might not work for me this season. I've got enough vacation and enough tracks within easy driving distance of home to stay plenty busy regardless of whether I can travel or not. We'll know more in a few weeks after Deb has her shoulder looked at. If she needs the surgery and can't work then I'll be staying closer to home all season. We've still got our daughter and granddaughter living with us too so the budget had been out of whack since last fall even before this latest setback.

When I chase racing every year like we all do there are bound to be some seasons when family and/or work obligations don't allow me to do as much as I would like. Every season there are new events and series that are added putting a further strain on the budget and vacation schedule. If I have to stay a little closer to home I might even get some of those neglected projects done one of these years.
