What are some of your biggest surprised and disappointments of the 2008 USAC/CRA races??

Both surprised and dissapointed in the same breath.

1) The "Montreal Screw Job" USAC gave Tony Jones and him only running a partial season.

2) Rare appearences by The Kruser at the PAS

3) Rip's early season injury

4) The announcement of less USAC/CRA shows at PAS

5) The CRA folks getting smoked in the Western World at Manzy.

6) Garrett Hansen and his mission to drive through everyone in front of him.

7) Not being able to watch one race live this year, ANYWHERE.

8) Not being able to make it to the Ovals

9) Car counts

10) The Tony Jones retirement announcement

Biggest surprise and maybe a little disappointment (for selfish reasons) was the retirement of Tony Jones. No real disappointments though with the exception of the Calistoga race weekend when the CRA came up a little short performance wise. Though they were at somewhat of a disadvantage having never run the big half-mile before. Overall it was a great season for USAC/CRA.
