We hear of all of the drivers that should be on the WoO tour but one of our locals here in Ohio never gets mentioned. How about Byron Reed? Multi time Attica and Fremont champion. Has won with the wing and without. Talk about true outlaw.

Byron would be a good choice but I think he refuses to run the big tracks since his Eldora incidents.

There is no doubt in my mind that Byron Reed would become the instant frontrunner for ROY, should he decide to jump on the WoO tour. He is a great shoe by any measure, and one of the nicest most approachable drivers I have ever met. Unfortunately, I can't see it happening, mostly because he loves being close to home with his young family. I would, however, love to see him return to the Nationals while he is still on a roll.
