New to the forum here and looking for a little feedback.

Let me begin by introducing myself. My name is Dean Bitner. My partner Paul Colvin Jr and I own The Block Auction Company and we took over the racers auction in Tulsa last year. It goes on during the off hours of the Chili Bowl. We were fortunate enough to sell Gary Wrights' operation and it went very well for all involved. With that in mind we've decided to dedicate one auction day to sprints and midgets ONLY this coming January.

We've got a good assortment of consigned parts already but we are looking for about 250 more good clean items for auction. We're running the sprint parts on Friday, January 16th 2009 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. If we get any excess beyond that, we'll sell it Saturday morning. The rest of Saturday and Sunday will be dedicated to the other classes of cars, toters, trailers etc ...

With that said, what do you guys think ? Will a Friday sale work for sprint parts and are you interested in bringing anything to the auction ?

Our website is www.blockauction.com and you can see a list of all our racing auctions there... OR, My cell number is 479-263-3326 and I'll be glad to answer any questions you have. Call me anytime, Dean

The arena is straight north of the expo center. Has a big ford sign out front. We had a booth at the OKC show this weekend and it sure seemed like the auction was very professional. We are waiting to see how this year goes, and we might do the Tulsa show next year.

There will be a large red banner on the front of the Super Duty building. We'll also have several signs throughout the grounds. When you turn from 21st into the Expo grounds, you'll see the Expo building on your left. Directly in front of you at the end of the 4 lane driveway is the Super Duty Building. AND in a latebreaking development......

We've got a major operation being sold. We're offering 2 turnkey midgets and a turnkey NCRA 360 Sprint at auction Friday. There's hundreds of extra parts too all from the same raing operation. Stay tuned for more info. This stuff is all first rate equipment and no junk .

Come join us, Dean 479-263-3326
