Hello,
My buddy bought a sprint car and wants me to work on it with him. I was just wondering if there are any websites that have basic chassis and setup info for a newbie.
Thanks everyone

Go to
http://www.ssapubl.com/productList.aspx?track=DirtTrack&car=Sprint
buy the book - or borrow it. It'll give you a place to start and help you to understand the basics. I'd try to find a team and start off as a helper; change tires, scrape mud, and do anything they ask - for free. Just set it up so you can ask a ton of questions that you'll have after you've read the book two or three time....But it's just a start......

go to racemaxims.com and go to their tech support page on the top menu, they have some pretty good stuff on there.

Hey that tech section at www.racemaxims.com is pretty neat.
Thanks,
Larry "O"
P.S. Wonder why they suggest Reverse Split torsion bars for their Big Max, compared to standard
bars for the Regular Maxim?

You should also be able to call the chassis manufacturer and give them the year the chassis was built, and they can provide a base set-up sheet for you. It'll at least give you a point to start from.
Signature here.
