Lee Robison of California passed away this morning. Lee was a long time racer that has been involved since the rolling of tires.....
He has helped several other racers thru his journey, with his wisdom and knowledge. Lee has fielded cars thru the Ascot days to Perris and given his heart and soul to the sports. He is survived by his wife Lin and a wealth of family. Lee will be greatly missed but was so happy to see all of the people he had not seen in a while at the Ledgends of Ascot just a few weeks ago and Ventura.

I'm old enough to remember seeing Lee race with the San Diego Racing Association supermodifieds and, of course later CRA. I believe the last time I saw him was at a restaurant in El Cajon, CA where he and his wife were having breakfast. That was probably 7 or 8 years ago. Although I was sure it was him, I decided not to interrupt Lee or his wife. In retrospect I probably should have as he might have appreciated being recognized. RIP Lee.
