If they have this much problems with the one teams what is going to happen when they have two team with the same problems?

What a whiner SALDANA is....J.E.I.was as he stated many times (the fastest racecar he had ever driven) Now he gets his A_ _ Kicked ,and of course its the Car and the Crew...THAT IS AT FAULT..mabey its time this Big Mouthed Whiner..tried paying his own racing bills....then he wouldent put down ... the very people who have done nothing but helped him....and what makes him put himself in the class of Shatz /Kinser / Meyres ?????

The Saldana's have owned there own team in the past and know what it takes. Heard they were going to Maxim chassis, best of luck to Joey and team in 09.

I didn't hear them say what chassis they were switching to if any. I do recall them switching motors after the heat and he commented that they were trying new combinationations for next year and the car they were putting the motor in was a JEI .

I was a bit surprised by Joey's performance this year. I thought he would be a contender for the title.
He did run great "balls to the wall" at Eldora.

I am not an expert on the subject by anymeans but if I had to swap out three engines in one race and that wasn't an isolated incident mind you, I would defiantly be making some changes for the next season.
Congrats to "this Big Mouthed Whinner" on working through all their problems and still getting fourth in the points!

Agreed! I guess wanting to improve your team and yourself after an "off" year is whining?? Cmon now...Joey doesnt whine and moan and groan near as much as a certain other sprint car driver (poster boy Schitz). Look for KKR to be stronger than ever in 2009 when Joey and Craig take assault on the championship!! Let's get em boys!!!

I don't know about the KKR USAC teams but if you look at the calaber of drivers Brad Sweet & Brady Bacon are and they seem to win whenever they get out of the JEI it might also benefit them to try something else as well ( IF it is true that the wing program is switching)

How will Joey feel next year when he gets his ass kicked on a nightly basis?
The problem on the #9 car isn't the driver, chassis, engines, tires, wings or the color of the car. WK is the problem. Will Kasey EVER figure it out???

While we're on the subject of JEI Chassis I currently work for a team that uses J&J. The team is considering looking at a JEI car, let me know if there's any similarities or differences between the two in terms of setup. The car we have now is a raised rail 87/40 J&J.
About myself I just started working with sprint cars about a year ago doing various odds and ends but I want to be a full-fledged crew chief by 2010. Any tips, tricks, and pointers anyone can help me with? I have, to some degree, worked on different chassis such as Gambler, Maxim, and J&J.

What I don't understand about this entire team is Saldana is with JEI now and is going to switch chassis in 2009 (rumored to Maxim).....Dollansky will be a team car to Saldana and currently runs Maxim but I was told by one of his crew members at Topeka that the team put together a brand new JEI because they are going to be a second car to Saldana's KKR team.....Why would Dollansky (a long time supporter of Maxim) switch to JEI if Saldana is going from JEI to Maxim? Enquiring minds want to know.

the 9 team changed engines on TV prior to the A - "testing something new" - they said...and then the car broke a few laps into the race.
maybe KKR will allow the 9 to run a different package from the 19 and create sibling rivalry and some special TV interview moments?
