i just wanted to take this time personally to thank all those involved with purchasing of the howard kaeding illustraion titled "hk american made" i am very thankfull that the response was so, amazing, and i was very humbled by the experience that was in front of me, as i was able to not only help be a part of giving something back to the make a wish foundation,,,

but i was able to truly live out my dream of being next to one of my true heroes ,,hk, is the greatest i have ever seen wheel a car, and an even better person, to have i their lives,, the trophy cup was agreat was to dedicate to him, as it actually was able to help others,, which is fitting,,

thanks again,, and i was thankfull to those who purchased them, as we all gave back,, i will try my best to continue to design things that can give back in some way,,Bscadden,,,

actually the illustrations were sold/raffled/auctioned collectively by myself, howard, and Dave at trophy city, in a joint effort to raise additional money for the trophy cup/ make a wish foundation,,,

they were numbered, and autographed by h.k. and myself,, as a limited edition, so that we wouldn't ever make a print of this again,, then again, i didn't say, that i wouldn't ever draw something new for him,,, so, i will keep you all in the loop on that one,,

thanks again for the interest, and i will continue to flow, with the pen and ink!!

B.Scadden,,

How about doing a t shirt. Years ago at Marysville someone was selling HK shirts with the Flyers Body Shop car on them. Like an idot I didn't buy one and have been kicking myself ever since. Last year at the All American Vintage Classic I bought a Everett Edlund t shirt and love it. Retro is in!

I WOULD LOVE TO DO ONE, FOR HIM, AS WELL AS ANY OF OLDER CARS, I GREW UP WATCHING THOSE AND WOULD LOVE TO DO A SHIRT ON THEM, IT'S JUST THAT ACTUALLY MAKING THE SHIRTS, AND DOING THE ART ISN'T AS CHEAP AS ONE MAY THINK,, IF THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT WANTS TO DO THIS, I AM ALL EARS, AND TRUE TO MY WORD, THEY WILL LOOK BAD ASS!

LET ME KNOW, AND WE CAN MAYBE WORK IT OUT,,

I AM GLAD THERE IS THIS TYPE OF INTEREST,,

Speaking of older cars, here's a 1960s supermodified I'd love to see on a shirt someday, my favorite driver from the past:

Nice work on the HK illustration, pen&ink. Can't wait for that shirt to come out!
